Bob Conrad
With a career spanning over five decades, Conrad has been instrumental in shaping how music reaches audiences, from airwaves to arenas. From 1978 to 1991, he served as a Promotion Manager for Columbia Records helping to deliver some of the most iconic releases of the era, contributing to 42 gold and platinum certifications for artists including Journey, Tony Bennett, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Kenny Loggins, Pink Floyd, Wham! and Men at Work. His expertise in artist development, market strategy, and cross-regional promotion made him a key player during one of Columbia’s most celebrated decades.
In the 1990s, Conrad transitioned into the live-concert sector with Denver-based Fey Concerts, working in Advertising and Marketing for events throughout the United States. His campaigns supported world-class artists including U2, Jimmy Buffett, Metallica, Billy Joel, The Eagles, Elton John, The Grateful Dead, and others of similar calibre. During this period, he was selected to market the Grand Opening and first 58 shows at ‘The Joint’ in the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel, creating the template for promoting concerts within a casino environment.
In tandem with his work at Fey, he in 1993 launched Knightime Direction. Originally founded to help emerging artists develop their craft and audience, Knightime now provides PR and publicity campaigns, along with an array of other services, for a range of entertainment and commercial clients.
Today, he brings his lifetime of campaign craft and industry experience to TAD Management, an international entertainment and booking agency, where he works across Marketing & Sales to support touring productions and venue partners since 2009.
